Most Laser printers are equipped with a HP Laserjet Pro M203dw Toner Cartridge. Make sure that you buy a quality toner ink before refilling the toner cartridge. Also, ensure that you collect a star-cut screwdriver, soft cloth, a newspaper sheet or any waste-sheet, any sharp edged driver and a quality HP Laserjet Pro M203dw toner ink bottle.

  • The primary step after pulling the toner from a laser printer is to open the screw of the side cover.
  • Make sure that you take the side cover off and then remove the drum unit. Carefully hold it from a white portion and pull it in the direction instructed.
  • Remove PCR roller, then carefully push PCR rod to right-side with some sharp-edged tool and then slightly move PCR upward and take it out leftwards.
  • Make sure you separate the waste unit and ink unit, which are joined together with the help of pins on both sides of the cartridge.
  • After pushing pin from the inside, get it out from the outer side and then carefully remove the spring located on the left-side of the HP Laserjet Pro M203dw cartridge.
  • Set-apart waste unit and the ink-unit, then remove spring on the right-side and then remove the plastic cover.

  • Make sure that you re-assemble the waste-unit part. For that, fit the wiper-blade and then the plastic cover.
  • Now, re-fit plastic cover so that it fixes into the cut/groove and then you can fit the spring back to its position.
  • Open it and fill the Ink (dry) in it and then close it. Now, finally re-assemble the two units which were separated earlier.
  • After removing the side cover, you will observe a white plastic cover. Ascertain that you remove this and fill the toner-ink.
  • Now, carefully shake the Ink Bottle before use and after removing the cap of the bottle, close the cap.
  • Ascertain that you properly align the Waste unit and ink unit and also reinsert PINS that you removed from both sides.
  • Insert PCR roller and then you can install Drum-Unit back to its position after reinserting the pins.
  • Once you reinstall drum, make sure that you fit the side-cover and then finally re-insert the Spring.
